Born and raised in Bendigo, Josh attended Deakin University before returning to Bendigo to pursue his career in law. Josh has over a decade of experience in property law and his legal expertise extends to all areas of property law with a particular focus on property development.
Josh joined Beck Legal in 2017 and advises a diverse range of clients from both the private and public sectors including multi-nationals and SMEs in residential, mixed use and commercial developments for high rise and greenfield projects. Having practised in regional Victoria his whole career Josh has also assisted a large number of clients in relation to primary production properties including acquisitions, sales and family farm transfers.
Josh possesses extensive insights into issues related to the indirect taxes affecting property transactions. His in-depth understanding spans various domains, including stamp duty, land tax, GST, Growth Areas Infrastructure Contribution (GAIC) and Windfall Gains Tax (WGT).
