Beck Legal was delighted to sponsor the Year 11/12 category of the Swan Hill Regional Library Young Writers Award, an initiative that celebrates creativity and storytelling among emerging writers. This year’s theme, “The Day Social Media Disappeared,” challenged students to craft narratives of up to 800 words exploring life without the digital platforms we often take for granted.
The awards presentation took place on Wednesday, 22 October 2025, during Children’s Week at the Swan Hill Library. It was an inspiring evening that showcased the talent and imagination of young writers from across the region. Shortlisted entries will remain on display at the library throughout November 2025, offering the community a chance to enjoy these thought-provoking stories.
Representing Beck Legal on the night was Deanne Earle, who accepted a certificate of appreciation on behalf of our team. We are proud to support initiatives like this through the Beck Legal Community Fund, which reflects our commitment to investing in local talent and fostering opportunities for growth and creativity.
Congratulations to all the winners and participants for their outstanding work. Your stories remind us of the power of words and the importance of nurturing the next generation of thinkers and storytellers.
