BECK LEGAL COMMUNITY FUND
Beck Legal is proud to support La Trobe University’s Regional Pathways Program, an initiative helping regional secondary students build confidence, strengthen their study skills and prepare for the transition to tertiary education.
Delivered through local coordinators and working with regional secondary schools, the program provides students at end of Year 11 and throughout year 12 practical support as they explore their aspirations and pathway to higher education.
The partnership reflects our belief that regional students should have access to education, meaningful careers and the opportunity to build their future close to home.
Our contribution
Through the Beck Legal Community Fund, we have made a $10,000 contribution to the Regional Pathways Program. The funding will support program delivery in the Central Victorian region including the people and resources needed to work directly with local schools and students.
Our support reflects education, one of the key pillars of the Beck Legal Community Fund, and our broader commitment to creating lasting benefits in the communities where we live and work.
For us, this is more than a donation. It is an investment in regional students and the long-term strength of the Central Victorian region.
Creating opportunity, regardless of postcode
We believe regional Victorian students should not miss opportunities simply because of where they live.
For students who would be the first in their immediate family to attend university, the process can feel unfamiliar and difficult to navigate. Without family experience to draw upon, understanding study options, entry pathways and university life can be a significant first step.
The Regional Pathways Program supports students throughout that journey. It helps them explore their aspirations, develop study skills, build confidence and prepare for university, creating a clearer pathway from secondary school to further study and a future career.
By supporting the program, Beck Legal is helping ensure that postcode or family experience does not determine a young person’s possibilities. It is about opening doors, making tertiary education feel achievable and helping regional students take their next step with confidence.

Our people are part of the investment
Our involvement extends beyond financial support.
Beck Legal also support students through career expos, workplace insight sessions, La Trobe University-led events and work experience, clerkship and graduate pathways. These activities help students understand the range of legal and non-legal careers available within regional professional services.
These connections allow students to learn about the world of work, build professional networks and see how further study can lead to rewarding careers in their local community. They also give our people an opportunity to support and encourage the next generation.
Beck Legal currently employs eight university law students, providing them with valuable paid practical experience while they complete their studies. We also employ a recent high school graduate in a Business Administration Trainee role.
By working alongside experienced professionals and contributing to legal and business matters, these emerging professionals build practical skills, confidence and an understanding of professional practice. Providing these opportunities in Bendigo also helps retain local talent and strengthens the future pipeline from secondary school to further study and regional employment.
