Above or below? Could Transmission Lines go underground instead?

A company is proposing to build a 250-kilometre underground transmission line in Victoria.
Syncline Energy says if the project were to go ahead, it would delay the need to build two controversial projects with one of those being the southern half of VNI West.
What’s next?
An energy policy researcher says the proposal is worthy of serious consideration, but the state government says initial analysis shows significant challenges.
